The Alton Mill is a historic stone building dating back to 1881 located in the heart of the beautiful Caledon Hills. This gorgeous building overlooks a millpond on the picturesque Shaw’s creek. Once, a woolen knitting mill, it is now home to artists, writers and craftspeople.

DIRECTIONS FROM TORONTO: (about 70 minutes)
Hwy 401 west to Hwy 410, north (410 becomes Heart Lake Road. There is a jog right at Old Base Line). Turn west at Charleston SR (regional road 24), drive west to #136 (Main street). Take #136 north to Alton village. In Alton, turn left at Queen, right at Amelia. Cross the bridge and turn left into the Alton Mill driveway. Entrance is on North side. Studio on second floor.
